Blah Blah Blah on a Lazy day

Posted on

I was sitting all alone in my room figuring out what to do than browsing the net. Gah! I couldn’t think of any. I opened my Facebook account and after a few minutes I logged out (I am afraid I might get tempted to play cityville…I don’t want to end up spending a lot on internet bill again!). Bored as I am I opened my twitter account and visited some favorite sites until my eyes get weary and feeling hungry.

I went out to grab something for my stomach and decided to turn on the TV. With a plate of pancit palabok and a chilled coke I kind of trying to enjoy “Junior Masterchef” show (I do like this show it but it was a replay.  As much as possible I dont want to repeat watching shows/movies). But there was nothing interesting than this so I continue watching it till I get finished with my food.

Today’s my day off and I’ve got plenty of time to be lazy. When I feel like tolerating laziness there’s one thing in my mind that I would really love to do. That is to watch pinoy movies (aside from rolling and rolling at my bed)! Unfortunately it is very difficult to get pinoy movies here and if ever I get a copy of a movie it’s not like the movies I would really like to watch. I don’t know maybe it’s just me but I think pinoy movies before are way too great than the ones we have now (these days I could only remember a few title that is a good watch).

Well I could be wrong because it’s been a long time since I lived in Pinas but with all the movies I watched from home I could tell gone are the days where I laughed so hard with all those comedy movies, cried so hard with all the drama movies and felt inlove with those romantic ones. Having said that no matter how cheesy & bad a pinoy movie could get I still love to watch all the movies a friend is providing me just because it is always delightful to watch tagalog movies (as long as it’s in my language! :D )

Oh I am sorry Pinas Movie Industry! I know I am bad to compare how great movies were than now. I guess there’s someone responsible with this. The friend who is providing me with all these “chaka” movies! Hmmmm…peace my friend! Ahihi’ As much as I would love to tackle more about it I think it’s time to stop it besides I am not a movie critic. What do I know noh?! lol!

Anyway, don’t you think it’s time to do nothing and just lay down on the bed till I fall asleep?! This I guess is agreed to be the best thing to do on someone’s free day! Correct?! I should do that now.

P.S

Do you have a list of Pinoy All Time Fave Movie? I’ve got a long one! What about you? What comes first in the list? Bata Bata Paano ka Ginawa? Magnifico? A Love Story? Tell me okay?! X

What to Eat

It’s 01:46pm and haven’t gone out for lunch yet because….

Still figuring out whether I go home and cook or order online for food delivery. It is very sunny outside and that hinders me from going out and to cross the streets (not that I am afraid to get darker ok?). Hmmm…then if I opt to order online it will be expensive. Sigh* So what happens now with my mission to save? Decisions decisions…

Plus another thing to consider is that the food that I am craving right now is not available here.

Nihonbashi’s GYUU DON (Simmered Beef on top of steamed rice)

And eat it with this super chilled coke (Sarap!)

Looking at these photos make me very hungry. I guess for now I will just go down and buy a buttered bread or instant Tom Yum noodles from a small shop nearby (no need to go home as I don’t think there is something in the fridge to cook anyway). What a great alternative for what I crave, sure I’d save! lol! What about you? What did you have for lunch? X

Gifts

My birthday falls this month so I wouldn’t get surprised if a friend would hand me a present but I honestly didn’t expect to receive some of them already at this early (it’s just the first week of April and my birthday will take place at the end week). How can they be so sweet? Hmmm… I guess they want me to get another year older soon, lol!

And would you believe all of these items were brought here from their home country (except Jen though)

Laura Secord’s Hot Chocolate didn’t last a week (good taste kase!)

I love the Glam Shine Volumizer Lip Gloss of Loreal!

A box of Chinese Traditional Tea

My first time to have a green wallet

Since friends have started sending in their gifts I guess I should make my birthday wish list now, publish it here and then I’ll tell other friends to read my blog, lol!

To Ms. Lota (Canada), Jenny, Alex (China) & my sissy Nanzy Panzy (Thailand), thank you all guys! X

Ballerina Slippers

Yes, that’s my favorite shoes/slippers at home now…

It is made of soft cotton or polyester that makes it very comfortable (very feet friendly), cool, lightweight, and washable!

I am not sure how much does it cost and where it was purchased exactly as this was only a ‘pasalubong’ from a friend who went home recently for a short vacation in the Philippines.

Anyway, another friend has just gone home the other day and I requested from her to check on this for me as I would want to have another pair or more, yay! I just love the feeling it brings to my feet! I swear, to the point of having thoughts to wear them when I go to bed, lol!

I am certain I am not being exaggerated here. Own one and see it for yourself, I know what you are going to say. X
