When my friend Cristina asked me to join her on a Kuramathi Island Resort trip I didn’t think twice deciding. All I uttered was “tell me when and let’s go!” (regardless there’s a budget for that or not, kagara dakan gajud) lol! This is the only resort I haven’t visited among the properties of Universal Resorts plus I’ve been frequently hearing good remarks about the island so that made me really wanna go.
The long wait has come. We went there for a 2N/3D stay and I can really tell how happy I was to be in the island. Met long time friends there (Thank you Kuya Pio for the great music played during our visit – nakakainlab chi!), our room which was the pretty and spacious Beach Villa with Jacuzzi, the lovely and courteous staff (especially to Gie, super thanks!), the delicious buffet meals at the Main Restaurant (I love the American Dinner themed Buffet), these are just some of the things I love there and oh the sandbank too was awesome!
I will have to say this again. I am not a lover of big resorts but all in all Kuramathi is difinitely a lovely resort. If I have the chance to go back there again I would (lalo na pag complimentary, lol!). I love the Italian Restaurant there. The infinity pool and their sunbeds . The resort’s guest DJ from the US (DJ Lupe) amazed me so much (I loved all the music she played I just couldn’t stop dancing especially Richard, lo!). If there is one thing that I regret about our stay it was the complimentary champagne which we forgot to drink (yangsa talaga! lol!).
Some of the photos I took during the visit
we went there by speedboat (I think it took us 01 hr & 45mins to reach there from the airport) Glad the weather was lovely.
My favorite area in the resort, the restaurant…
But ey! won’t you just love the superb sea view straight from our table? that’s what I am talking about aside from the food alright?! lol!
Stingray! yes many of them. They were there for stingray feeding.
I really thought this is no longer happening as it will make them lose their abilities to get food but I enjoyed the show anyway!
Took a pic of Tintin at the sandbank…
Actually we crazily took photos of ourselves before other guests could come for the sunset viewing (shy type daw kami kase)
P.S
Here’s a video of Beach Villa with Jacuzzi just in case you would like to peek on the room …
